tomtom 5 gps system... what's needed?

Hi all,

I'm trying to find the cheapest way to get a tomtom 5 system up and running.

I'm being offered a 7610 for £50 from orange (as a mid contract upgrade?) so I believe it will go on this phone although I will look into what other phones I can get.

Where can I get the software? (for free?)

What is the best gps receiver to buy (at a decent price)?

Is there anything else I need?

I've just tried irc and having never used this type of software before I've not had much luck...

Any chance of some instructions or an easier way of getting it?

Also: which gps receivers are best. I'm thinking of getting a 7710 so I guess some receivers won't work...
