Hi guys,

I have a big problem. After I restored eeprom backup T191unl.eep
I have no network service. Can someone help me with this problem.

Motorola T191 MS: 198593 S:9.85 H:1.1
With DMtool 3.12. I followed these steps:

1) put phone in to test mode
2) if test mode on -no backlight, no power on
3) run dmtool set database mh1171
4) restore eeprom backup (190unl.eep for T190 191unl.eep for T191)
5) phone is unlocked

If you have a software that can help me can you e-mail it to me.

[email protected]

Thx in advance,

Alinus

Thx for your reply,:)

But still no network. I used the 191unl.eep for T191.:(

Do you have more sugestions. It's very strange. I tested also with an other chip but no luck.

Thx in advance

I will explain what i did:
1)I took the chip out of the phone
2)I started DMtool I choose file->set data base (mh1171)
3)Service->e2P Clone
4)E2P -> I choose 191unl.eep
5)I checked only the E2P option then I pressed Restore
6)After that you get one biep and you get a massage that it was OK
7)Then I took off the cable and inserted the chip. Then i turned on the phone no network.

What is very strage i think is at the left corner ther is L1 (line something)

I hope this is enough info.

The thing is a friend bougt this phone and he is doing nothing with it. I took it to unlocked so I can use here on the island. Our band is 900/1800. I don't know for sure which band is the phone that is the problem. Because fguimet said that they use this version in Peru and that is 1900Mhz.

He said maybe I can change the IMEI. I don't know how.

And I'm not sure is gone a work.

Do you think I have to try it?????:confused:

before u try u have to know that changing imei is illegal.
if u get caught....

yes, try it, it may be. but i believe that phone is for 1900mhz.

but what the heck...what more wrong can it do...

the version u are trying to use, i am sure its 1900 band, because we use it herre in peru, and if your country band is 900/1800, the phone won´t work there.
that all

the T191 is the 1800 mhz european version soft 1.xx
and also the southamerican version but 1900 mhz soft 9.xx
the T190 is the 1900 mhz US version soft 5.xx
all look the same.
In the caribbean French and Dutch islands and Jamaica use 900/1800mhz others (e.g. Antigua) 900-1900mhz

its like the T192 and T193 both the same but the 192 is euro 1800 and the 193 US 1900 mhz
