Here's a replacement Platform4Encoder.rsc file, so that you can replace the one installed with the VideoMMS application, and get english text.

The file goes in the c:\System\Apps\Platform4Encoder directory on your phone. Replace the original one that was installed when you installed the application.

Erm.

No, dont rename the .zip file to .sis This is a real .zip file. extract the Platform4Encoded.rsc file from the zip. Send it to your phone via bluetooth, IrDa or email. Use SeleQ to move the file from your mail folder to your c:\System\Apps\Platform4Encoder directory. (replace the one that is already there.)

OK, I guess that you've sent the file to your phone, and it is in your inbox.

Start SeleQ, highlight C:
menu OPTIONS - Find...
Name: PLAT*.RSC
click OK

SeleQ should show you three file.

Use the OPTIONS - FILE - Properties to check the path of each.
you are looking for the one that has c:\system\mail ...
in its path.

Choose Options - Edit - Copy

now, go to the c:\System\Apps\Platform4Encoder directory and replace the one that is already there

help i ahve inatalled the sis file then copied and pasted the rsc file from mail to apps using efilemanager didnt change to english so restarted and now the phone wont switch on just keeps resetting am getting a replacement from orange tomorrow but how should i do it so it works ??? anyone else had this sort of problem i had it when putting non mms video messagung on phone killed 3 then



help please :)
