6610 is the same juz that it is smaller than 7210....

the only different is the keymat module, keypad and A-cover.
software are identical, this means 6610=7210=5100=6100=6800 and others which having screen resolution of 128 x 128 pixel, catogorized in series 40 of symbian product

Not quite sure what you meant 'terry' about the 6610=7210=5100=6100=6800 being identical..
The LCD pixel resolution and core functionality of the models maybe but the software is NOT on all of them.

The only one we are aware of that shares the same software is 6610 and 7210 (most likely the 6100) due to the following differences in the other models.

The 6800 screen orientation changes when it is flipped open and supports a full keyboard. This model is also only Dual Band 900/1800mhz where the other models are Tri-band. Also the ringing tones are setup differently.

The model 5100 also includes a few unique functions such as a Calorie Counter, Thermometer, Sound Meter and Flashlight.

That's NOT true.

The software have important diferencies between the two models, for example:

6100 software implements several WAP security functions suchs as Wallet and WIM (Wireless Identity Module).

6100 doesn't have a FM radio integrated

6100 doesn't have Color Schemes

And the most important 6100 features the NEW ultra-slim nokia battery BL-4C :eek: while the 7210 uses a BLD-3

but for now... i can say that 6610 is a 7210 inside.... this includes the same firmware, which a6610 can also be flash or upgrade using the 7210 latest firmware.... thanks a lot for the intelligent replies:) :) :)

YES.... We took a 6610 and 7210 and they showed identical software type/versions.
We just received some 6100's, those however do show a DIFFERENT software type/version.

Currently we dont have a flash adapter for either type (6100 being different). Couldnt tell you for sure about flashing 6610/7210 soft in a 6100 or vice-versa, but your 6610 would never know the difference using the 7210 software.

Yes 7210 and 6610 are one and the same phone.

You can flash 6610 firmware into 7210 board, but you have to do
it properly - Image, Ppm and Content pack ( Java and Galeries).

hmm... so what exactly is the difference between the 6610 firmware and that of the 7210? They're both NHL-4, all I can find in terms of firmware for them is common.

The games and the applications included are different.

Not sure about the pictures in the Galleries folder, they look so
dull you cant say the difference.

Probably there are lot more things, but I am so lazy to read all
Nokia bulletins about new features.

yes, i reflash 7210 with 6610 mcu+ppm+content package and vice versa, it works.

the system module of both module is identical, with different software content.
