problem with a 8210

I just got hold of 8210.. the only problem is that everything does it's own way. The time is in the center of the screen, the "menu" is at the left. In my phonebook i can see for about 5 times the same number. Really pretty and all but not ecxactly what i have in mind for a working 8210. So anybody has got an idee whats the problem. Don't think that it would be a software problem because the guy that I got it from doens't know that you can change software. Isn't it just the LCD???

Just flash the phone with a slave 8210 Full Eeeprom, (but make sure you back up first)
