My friend entered in #0111*XXXXXXXX and an eight digit number (The X's)

After that he got the message on his phone

Phone Locked Return for Service And you can do SOS.

He called T-Mobile, they can't do anything, they would replace it but the phone is on backorder.

Samsung Tech Support weren't helpful at all. Just said "Sir, you have to call your carrier."

So does anyone know what he can do? A reset code? Anything?

I had the same problem... just this afternoon. I called both T-Mobile and Samsung, and they referred me back to each other.

Fortunately, I had a service plan with Best Buy on my phone. I just went in and told them it locked up. They happily gave me a new one for free.

Wish I had some advice... I think T-Mobile has an exchange program... and your phone should still be under warranty.

They should exchange it for free at a T-Mobile store.
