Unlocking 5210 5.20

I've searched a lot in the forum, and was surprised that the only solution i've found was the unlock with Nokia Tool by Rolis 1.8
Than I tryed it but it doesn't worked.
Secondly i was serching for a full flash for the 5210 but i have foond nothing with language German included.

So here is my question: How can I unlock the 5210 5.20 without downgrading to 5.18?

Upto now I was under the impression 5210's were bast'ds to unlock. Especially 5.20 & 5.22

I then read this thread and used EEprom tools V3.1 (which I had for months!)

I just clicked Unlock, and it worked.

I thought you had to update faids etc.

Ive been unlocking phones since 04/2002 with partials
Would EEprom tools have done the job!

Is it correct that phones unlocked with partials just disable the checking code?

I haven't used partials for a long time!
The only time you will ever need your flasher cable is if you are updating the software version or a language change.
Everything is done through you serial cable now, it takes about 5 seconds. I read phone, unlock all, then read again to check all is O.K

This may be so lsearp, but at 10-15UKP a go, I still think cables are better. :)

p.s. Partial flashing simply messed up the msid in the process of bypassing the "chekc the locks" bit of the phone software

Yea, I gathered partials changed the code to skip the checking code, as they were placed in all different places in the same series of phone depending on version. Lame!

Posting that software would be a great help.
Please check its for DCT4 phones, as most, if not all, freely available code generator programs are DCT2.
