I have just brought a nokia 7650 from my local paper only to find a week later its been reported stolen! Ive phoned orange and they no help!. Ive heard if u change the IMEI number then the phone will work again.

Does anyone know were i can get this software to do this!

PLZ PLZ PLZ Help beens i have a £200 phone that i carnt use!:confused:

There is no freely available sw that can do it, is possible by changing a chip and some other work, but a hell of a lot of trouble in more ways than one and illegal in many countries, inc the UK.

Just for the record:
The method Changing the UEM isn't cheap, nor easy. Wouldn't suggest to an newbie (sorry for the term newbie), as most pro's will struggle to do it also!

And besides, that methiod doesn't work for the 7650 As far as i know.

IT WILL NOT WORK FOR 7650 AND ITS NOT FREE , Rodger_Wabbit JUST TRY TO UNLOCK WITH IMEI THERE ARE TO MANY IN UK .

Wooo thanx for all the replys. I am praying that when i unlock it, it will work on T-Mobile or anyother network except Orange.

Basically if it dont ime f@ucked? and i need a new phone?

I dont understand how orange carnt do anything! they have the blokes details who its registered to and ive reported it so they should be able to contact him and sort it out, but NO Crap orange dont want to know! its like they dont give a f@ck and dont want to get involved! :-((((. Basically if it dont make them money they dont want to help!

Ive just brought a dongle or bluetooth thing wot ever its called so i could send stuff 2 my buggered phone. i was wondering oh is there any software available to unlock it using a dongle available???

You will spend loads of money getting the IMEI changed and unless the IMEI comes from another 7650 you will havea hard time getting any support or help with it from any network operator or nokia because the imei will be linked to another phone model,

Basically, your better off selling it for spares and buying yourself another one
