Help me out with my new 7650

When Going into "Messaging" theres an option in there called "Inbox"

How do i get this option to work ? where do i get the email address from ?

I have not got the first clue on where to start, could someone give me step by step directions on how i can send and recive emails

Im in the U.K and on the vodafone network, if thats any help to you?

Is there a website out there that can help me, ive searched google but it brings up German pages and i cant read it

what do i need to do to beable to use the email feature,

here in italy we have a smart message that they send to us and the 7650 is ready to go :D

btw..u will have to set inbox and outbox server as u do with outlook...with name and password.

they will send u only the setup 4 access points

do i need to get a mail account that surpots pop3 ? im using hotmail at the moment

almost every inbox server are POP3 .
u have first to set up ur ACCESS POINT (it will be 4 internet..not WAP)

then configure a NEW email box....with: POP3, SMTP, username and password of ur usual [email protected] mailbox

How do i create an access point for Internet not wap ?

I have rang the help desk but they dont seem to be able to help me,

you cant setup your mailbox with hotmail, the only way is to set it up with your ISP mail account or an account which uses pop3 or smtp.
Then go into outlook express and copy down the server data and ip address to your phone, and use the vodafone wap as an access point.

WAP ?? u have to use a WEB Access point.

make some searches with google and findout how to configure it.

Ok 4 hotmail..u can't use it.
make a new mailbox (yahoo..or wathever) and set in the phone the same POP3 and the same SMTP.....no IP needed :rolleyes:

pasa i have downloaded my settings, from my 7650, could you check them and make sure its configured correctly,

I used the same settings in "outlook" and it worked so im dammed if i know what the problem is,

GPRS is enabled on my phone and can use it to access wap but not mail,

i think u have to put Security and POP autentication OFF.

DAMMM that did not work,

By the way, to access Yahoo Mail with POP3 you have to pay now....

There should be tons of free webmail which supports POP3 as well.
