8210 signal reflow

have 8210 for my daughter...signal drops..not aerial...needs reflow i think...twist case and works fine ..tried slave aerial...pack with foam..worked ok..but still dropping......anyone help?
in in midlands uk....if so how much? thanks Richard

U have to change a new 'PA' or not u try to rehot the hagar and cobba !!Please post result!

it sounds like a dry solder joint. i would reflow the board focusing on the antenna area. if that didnt work i would erplace the PA and then the Diplexor(antenna switch )

thanks for help....dont quite understand terms used....pa hagar etc....but have a great pic that can help...but its all in correct terms...not slang..will attatch pic...may help others...or maybe someone can rename components
