Please,

I am getting just about crazy with my attempts to unlock my ericsson t20e...

I have a cable (Enhanced RS232 Cable DRS-11) and have found a few programs on the internet, but nothing works! When I run (any) programs they say "hold no for a short time", I do, and the program says "time out" so I guess there is no signal from the phone to the program.

What can I do to unlock my phone???

Thanks,
Primitiv

did u try ucables' Ericsson unlocker? If so, you can always do a master reset on the phone, however this sequence will wipe out the phonebooks, timers, and reset the phone's IRDB programming also - which will unlock the phone, but it may also reset the NAM, SID, and SOCs along with the phone's wake up logo with an AT&T logo - just the logo, but it will still unlock the phone and it can be used on SBCs systems.

THe sequence is 924639+Menu( or arrow down key)

Try to search for "ATR service free from Bone" - it works on a2618, t20 and t29. Maybe your cable does not work ? check it !

I'm not sure (for the t20), but for most other unlocking you need the "t28 unlocking cable", NOT the genuine ericsson cables.

yes, you have to use t28 cable !
