Hi!
I just got a Bluetooth dongle, and everything works great. Nokia Suite, Bemused, etc..
But the one thing I can't do is sending files from the phone to PC via Bluetooth. When I mark a file and choose "send -> via bluetooth" in eFile Manager, I choose the paired device, and it connects. But then I just get a message saying "sending failed".
What do I have to do to get this working?
Thanx for replies! :)

Have you set the pairing as authorised in the options screen on your phone?

Yup.. it's authorized. Do I have to add a COM port in the My Bluetooth settings or something? This is really annoying, as I need to transfer my videos to my computer..

What make dongle have you got?, i have had this trouble a couple of times and all i did was to delete the pairing at both ends and recreate it again

Billionton. I tried to delete and setup the connection on both ends again.. still won't work.
It's really weird as everything else works. I can connect to the internet with Wireless IRC through the bluetooth connection, backup/restore with Nokia PC Suite, and send files to the phone.
But I really need to send files from my phone to the PC.
Any other suggestions?

reboot your pc?, turn your phone off and back on?, make the file transfer the first thing you do after rebooting?
Running out of ideas!!

I cant get pc suite to work with my EIO wavelinker dongle but its ok with file transfers, and you are ok with pc suite but not with file transfers!!!, maybe we need 2 different makes of dongle to do everything?

Hardware wise i think it is, but its another matter when it comes to the drivers that are written by the manufacturer or importer, this seems to be where it goes pear shaped, V2 drivers for the EIO dongle are supposed to fix my problems, but they are passworded manufacturer files intended for authorised distributors only and i havent got a powerfull enough pc to crack them :(

That's bad.. Billionton doesn't even have downloadable drivers on their website :(
Guess I'll just have to wait for new drivers then..damn that sucks! no way to upload my vids without GPRS.

can you send it back and get a different one maybe?

Yeah, I probablyc could..but then maybe some other things wouldn't work.. And I found out I could just email the files via Bluetooth.
But thanx for your replies! :)
