Please Help videomms

Hello

I try to copy files ("Platform4Encoder.rsc"), which is for
videommswind.sis, to my Hand Phone, but my Laptop give me this message "Cannot send the selected file(s)/folder(s). There are no wirless derices in range". However at the same time, i can install programs/games (*.sis or *.jar) to my handphone.

Please kindly advice.

Be careful when putting that file in. My version of the videomms was in Italian, so I tried to change it to English.

The way to send it to your phone is to email it to your phone email address (you have to set one up). Once it is there you can use Extended Suite to browse through your phone and find the .rsc file. You then cut and paste this into a path something similar to c:/nokia/sys and overwrite the existing .rsc file.

This is where I went wrong. I don't know if I overwrote the wrong file, but after this my phone wouldn't boot up. I couldn't even do a master reset, and had to send the phone back for a replacement :(

Luckily I had backed the phone up the previous day :) so I didn't lose too much!

If anyone has had this as well, or have successfully done the change from Italian to English, please let me know!
