Nokia 5510 details

Hi.

Does someone know which is the last SW version for the 5510 (NPM-5)? Because I have V03.42 and it is bugged, especially when recording audio or deleting tracks. Sometimes the other tracks in the flash get damaged, unplayable or cut after a few seconds.... I hope it's not the DSP soft which causes the problem!

I'm also looking for a place to find a 5510 front cover, as mine is badly damaged over the screen... a friend gave it to me like this...

Any other details on HW/SW appreciated! :P

the last sw version is 3.53

by the way have u ever tried recording to the fone through connecting a mic to the phone, it seems that my fone cant it records but dont hear anything....

It's absolutely normal for the microphone, as the audio input is designed for the voltage level of the 'line out' output of audio devices. The level given by a microphone is about 500-1000 times lower, so it won't feel anything.
I also think it's stupid not to be able to record memos or voice, as there is enough memory for very long times... anyway, if you absolutely need to, you can use a small preamp between the mike and the input.

btw, does anyone have the same problems than me with file deletion?
