Hi @ all:
from german forums some hints:
"boot failure" ore "memory out of space". If you don't get the box for code entry - only the "nokia screen - you can enter your pin code to the blank white field (background).
And, I find this very funny, because I rememberd to buy an simply phone (only at selling - now we all know, we use a smartphone with a full function OS). Yes, it exist a further parallel to the Windows OS: YOU CAN BOOT AT SAFTY MODUS (sorry, is this the correct translation to "abgesicherter Modus"?) How?
Hold the "ABC-Key" pressed while the boot event is running till the end.
Similar to the PC-soft Symbian loads less "drivers" (or another things, I dont know). Use this way to boot at different problems.
Final note: Whats comes now? With tools you can "compress" your ram for better performance. Or you can compress the "Disk C:" to save space (not enough, ok). This solution I used before longer times at my PC, too.
Let's hope together, a developer (Peter Norton?) will code for software-probs, e.g. "Norton Utilities for Symbian" or better: "Norton System Works" as a complete package with anti-virus, backup, Symb-Doctor and so on.
