oh ok. just want to ask do you know any site that gives free webpages? what i want to do is subscribe to them and use the free webpage to store my files i can no longer squueze in my phone. so for example theres a program that sometimes i need and i cant leave it installed in my phone beccause it takes up spacce, what i want to do is use yFTP to download it and then install it. "kumbaga" instant memory card! is it possible? do you know any? guys? tnx!:D :D :D

Hello,

I do not know of a site that offers a free storage. If u want use Globe Store It. Ha ha ha. Just kiddin.
I would recommend u to use a very small yet useful software that compresses ur applications and decompresses them only when u need them. Stacker v2.05 or Space Doubler v1.20 and u can download these softwares from schizo' site. Another program u can use is Smart Compress, it archives ur applications when not needed (that is like virtually uninstalling the software) and restore it when u want to use it.

advise if u have concerns.

If I maybe allowed to speak in his behalf and if I understand correctly what an FTP is: FTP means "File Transfer Protocol" which means u can upload and/or download/transfer ur files to ur phone from any FTP site/server but it does not mean that those files were stored by u because unless u are allowed to access that server u are not allowed to upload files.
I think schizo is using FTP transfer to install his applications, games etc.

schizo can elaborate on that.

yeah i know what an FTP means. but i remember that when i used to create a webpage, i didnt transfer files via IE, i used cuteFTP. isnt it the same? transfer file to and from 7650 by yFTP. schizo? btw schizo, what access point were you using?

well first of all, your domain should be able to use ftp protocols.
next you are allowed to use the ftp line of the site. try www.geocities.com , ftp.geocities.com , usernmae = ur username and so on. it allows you to transfer files thru ftp.

access point that i use is the same as the webviewer

well geocities doesn't offer FTP transfer unless you pay a monthly fee which i dont want to do, anyway i found out that angelfire let u use FTP as a means of transfering files without extra charge. so far i havent been able to connect to the via yFTP. maybe because there only a weak signal here in my room. it always says time out etc. ill try it tomorow when i get out of here! thnx schizo and yankee! mabuhay ang pinas!

Can Myftp be used instead? I downloaded it from midletcentral.com but how do I get a username and pwd? The server name is ft. schiz0.net???

i have a problem with this, i am able to make a connection and enter an ftp, but sometimes when changing directory it says
