lithium polymer battery

anyone heard of lithium polymer battery for 7650, heard it last longer than lithium ion battery, anyone knows what specs they are?:) :)

Hi,

not yet for N7650. But Nokia develops for this new battery typ for futured phones. The major advantage of it is the free mould. But this is in normal case for the rectangular boxes in Nokia phones not necessary.

Second, I have read a technical article about this technologie, but I forgot most details. In sum, this battery type has not only advantages, at few tech-points the gain is less as Lithium Ion.

Conclusion: The battery stand by time for the N7650 is defintivly to less. But it is not meaningful, to wait for LiPo. The best deal is to buy a "bigger" battery. One of the best ways is at eBay, you can get a 1150 MAh model for 8 EURO. Important is: "japanese cells" (this means better quality as No Names from XXX), short circuit fixet and - last but not least - the size must be for N7650. Some models are "multi-sized" and they are to thick for our hole. The cover closes in the case very hard. Here is a solution, to cut the groove inside to get more space. And a second hint: Some people remove the plastic cover from the battery and it fits.

To remember: I payed Euro 8,00 for 1175 mAh.

What about the size of your battery? It's more or less the same of the original one? Can I close the rear well or can I force it?

Hi, I bought the battery at the weekend and I hope, to get it in next days. But I read only good things to this special type at the iNet. Size shoult be perfectly to N7650. I post, if I worked with it.
