Where the symbian os puts the minipics used in the phonebook?

They remains if I remove the photo selected to generate them, so the os must use some auto-generated thumbs in a system folder.

Maybe the same way in which the folder c:\nokia\Images_tn contains the thumbnails used in the preview of the Photo folder.

If I upgrade the sw version is all the contacts and messages deleted?

Thanx.

The pictures are integrated in contacts (file contacts.db)

Pictures that you can see using "pictures" are not connected or linked with those in contacts.

Nop. That directory (I guess) is only for thumbnail for "Picture" program. If you delete them wont see little pictures in "Pictures"

If you backud up you phone then no. No for sure about contacts, but for messages I don't know. Secure solution is to bacup them with "Message Saver".

Thanx.

You are welcome

Thanx friend, unfortunately my data suite won't work with xp and bluetooth, I've already read all the posts about this trouble but nothing to do:(
And it's impossible to send the file contacts.cdb via BT, it's 101 kb and it says that it's "impossible to connect" but only for this file, it works with other files. Maybe the dimensions?

Thanx anyway mate:D
