U need to create a new access point for webviewer. Do not use ur default GPRS access point. Set ur Gateway IP address to 0.0.0.0 and ur done. Leave anything on the other fields

Hello squall.

Try to change the myGlobe connection name to Doris or anything diffrent. I don't know if this make sense but just try it, because myGlobe is the default connection name for Globe GPRS.
Then restart your phone.

gud luck.

Doris Globe Setup

Are u a postpaid or prepaid subscriber?
Just found out that the setup: internet.globe.com.ph, which we are using with Doris browser is same access point when using ur phone as a modem to connect thru the GPRS; wherein Globe is charging postpaid users of 50 cents/KB. This is why Doris browser does not connect when using www.globe.com.ph as the access point because this is use for the free GPRS access.
Prepaid user's can't use Doris browser because of this access point.
Am thinking now to use Webviewer instead because Globe is charging much...

/brgds

I'm a prepaid subscriber... now i know, that is why everytime i connect my pocket pc using my phone as a modem, it was connected thru GRPS but i can't browse any page, same as Doris browser, anyway thank's for the info., at least we still have Webviewer, and most important the connection still free (but how long i don't know)Btw, i tried Smart GPRS and it works fine, they also charge 50 cents/KB.

thank's again M8...

M8, Is there a prepaid or postpaid subcriber in UK under O2 Network? coz we have here in the Philippines, and we have two sets of setting, maybe you can talk to your operator for what setting is applicable to you. Hope this would help.

Anyone know why i keep getting a message saying that it needs to connect to the gprs internet?, it happens about 6-10 times per page i try to view, i am using a bluetooth connection to my laptop to stream the gprs data to my phone from my cable modem and whilst it works nicely with doris web viewer otherwise it is very annoying to have to keep pressing the accept connection button everytime !

Huh... I have the same problem when I use my bluetooth to connect with my phone... Can't figure out the cause, maybe it's a software bug of doris browser...
