Nokia 7210 Bounce

Im playing Bounce and im stuck on level 9.

Could someone please tell me ho to pass this level, as i cat collect all the rings or find the exit.

I have made it to level 10...

But to get past level 9, you need Bounce v1.8 for Nokia 6110 or 7210.

As you probably know, the yellow rings are just floating in the air and you can't stand on the edges of them...
But in v1.8 you can stand on the edges of those rings.

In level 9, finish all the rings you can reach normally, and then at the bottom of the level, you go all the way to the left till you meet the wall, then you jump up on the ring, and take the first entrance to the left,jump as far up as you can by standing on the rings and you will notice that there are two rings higher up than what you normally can see... the exit is at the top left corner.

Please don't ask me about other levels as I haven't gotten past level 10 yet.

Why can't you use IR or WAP to install Bounce v1.8...
remember that you can't use a regular m2bus or fbus cable for installing applications...

you have to use the original Nokia cable for that...

I find IR good enough for me...


And update.. I'm on level 11

Well to download bounce V1.8 you can just go to the Nokia Software Market bookmark on your phone, and download it from there and it'll replace the old version

Otherwise if you've got the cable you can go to http://nokia7210.com.sapo.pt/java_games.htm this is a site i found a while back that has V1.8 of Bounce.

The only problem i had when replacing it was that the saved game got deleted and i was wondering if there was any to keep your saved game and not have to restart from the beginning when updating a game.

btn21, or anyone one else,

I was wondering if you got to go past level 11.

The problem with level 11 is that the riungs dont get marked off at the bottom as soon as you get them and instead you it is only taken off at random times inbetween collecting rings.

When you manage to collect the final ring though all the rings will be marked off and and the door will open.

When i went through the door though, the game ends with an error message and whenever i try continuing i keep encountering the same message and i can load up level 12.

Is level 11 the last?

Sorry, I haven't had time enough to complete level 11.
But there are still many bugs in this game, so don't expect too much from it yet..


I've got some news that my be of interest for anyone who play Bounce...
I have decompiled it, and noticed that theres a cheating function in the game and also a invincible function...
But they're not enabled of some reason. I have been looking around in the code, and it seems to be okay. Maybe it's only for the beta testers in Nokia so they won't have to try so many times to play around the game. :P

I have tried to recompile the game again, but it says that I'm missing some files.

If anyone is good a Java progging, it would be cool if you could make a wrapper class to enable these functions.
I'm a dummie when it comes to java... :P
But only the latest versions of Nokia can support wrapper class though.

Well im pretty crap at java programming...

And now after receiving that error message i started a new game, but even when i tried to continue it it kept coming up with the same error.

So now i have had to delete the original game, and have had to download it again from the nokia software market, and start all the way from the beginning

Hey just got some news reagrding level 11 of the game.

I found this below statement on a forumn and so cant garantee it will work but i will definitely try it.

11 needs to be done in a certain order. If you do it the wrong way round you may get permanently stuck. First the bottom section. Jump right from the start and get down the bottom. Go right, become big, and go back left to get the hoop. HEad back right, become small before the spike, go big, jump with power to the water in the sky, follow that through to the hoop and drop down to start point. go left and down, bouncing to drop through the water and follow the travelator one stop. bounce up and clear one hoop. back along the travelator and bounce up. go over the tree with the spikes and clear hoops on the other side, all while big. Bounce over to the water stream that rises and go up to the top. Go left and fall onto platfom to clear hoop. fall off platform and move right as fast as possible and bounce big back onto land. go back over tree and drop down below through the water. Become small off to the right and follow the travelator to the reverse gravity. Bounce up under tree and get clear of spikes. Wait for anti grav to wear off and fall into water at left and take door.
