nokia 5110 signal lost

i have a nokia 5110 originally version 5.27 i used flasher by rolis to re flash the phone with 5110_530.fls and now the phone works and is unlocked but the signal is no good i cant make or recieve calls on it as the signal is not there for more than a couple of seconds can you please help me to fix this problem

Attach data cable (M/F bus) and use Rolis 1.8 to update FAID. You should get signal then.

my data cable for the fone does not have a m/f bus changer switch on it so i dont know how to do it please can you offer any more help

Try Eeprom tools instead of Rolis.

I think you need a dedicated mbus cable or at least a switchable one for Rolis

Eeprom tools should work with the autoswitching cable.

Click on magnifying glass, click on padlock and then magnifying glass again and all should be fine.

You can download eeprom tools from this site.

hi again i have just tried eprom tool and that just says phone not connected even though the phone is plugged in and the cable is into the phone and the phone was turned on is there any more sugesstions please

Check the com port that it is plugged into the choice you have made for com1. com2 etc.

Might seem obvious but give it a try.

thanks for the advice but i checked all cables and com ports but the eprom tools still say phone not connected and i cant figure out why any more advice would be greatfully recieved thanks

i have an same problem like u ... but i have an f-m/bus cable ... but it still does't work like u told me to clik here and there ... now the phone are dead ... yeah relly dead ... my mobile is support for GSM-1900 ... PCN ... deos 5110_530 support for that? cos i edit it and it show me for all network ... not just for GSM-1900...

THAT IS EASY PROBLEM YOU MUST DO :
AFTER USING (rolis to re flash)YOU MUST BE DO :
1- CLEAR SP LOCKS .
2- UPDATE FAID .
3- CHANGE IMI TO THE BASIC .
4- ENGOY WITH YOUR PHONE .;)
