Yes,here is the 5210 V5.22 PPM C modified flash :

- 57 ringtones (PPM C is languages ENGLISH & TURKISH only)
- startup animation
- alarm & startuptone
- blink & linefeed char
- strength bars changed
- messages menu item all protected (security code)
- new Syndrom shortcuts menu

todo:
- I've already added extra bitmaps but when I change animation
frames,the frames scramble!will find a solution.

I didn't apply Al's Fade effect,it has problems when alarm rings & rythmic backlight is on.Please try the combinations if you want.
You know the MCU&PPM checks are removed.

ohh yeah, about bigger menu , did you change the text menu to small one or not ?.. it have to be small menu text to get the menu bigger..



btw: where is wildswan & No1 ... 4 of us like this 5210..

Bigger menu?It's possible&easy but I must firstly make the startup animation longer&changing the original id#s.
If I succeed,there will be lots of place(original startup animation locations)to put bigger menu animation bitmaps.(from 3410 for example)
But as you said,we must

1. make the menu names font smaller(it's easy)
2. change the table to get the animation menu frames upper
(if not,SELECT and EXIT will be invisible,under the bitmap)

It will be the last step.Also I'll try to find shutdown id and put it into a new menu.They did it for 3310.

I succeeded adding more bitmaps..finally
the startup animation is now 36 new frames.

I ripped the big menu bitmaps from 3350 and put them to my 5210 file at last...(Messages bitmaps are 80x25)
But long menu names will have a problem I think..They will touch the bitmap.(ex: Call register font and call register big bitmap)
Whatever we do,it seems that the 80x25 bitmap is exactly at the center of the screen.
I may shorten long menu names to avoid this

1st,flash my file with knok phoenix 1a.
If you flash with rollis,you get Contact service.If so,firstly find a full flash and flash it with knok,then you may flash mine with the same program.

5210 editing :

Get my txt file and study...It's for 5210 V5.22 and has advanced offsets.(How to add extra bitmaps & changing startup animation)
I use hex workshop,free flashtone,g3n0lite 1.6 or 1.7,ppmedit 1.0i and flsedit (for emulation of flashfile)

g3n0lite shows 5210 menus as id#'s...if you try to get the menunames in a specific language,you get errors.You need g3n0lite tutorials (for 3310's for ex.) and you may adapt it for 5210.I made it that way.
I will add a more complex offsets tutorial in a few days.

If you want to add new bitmaps from the beginning,take a look.
You can adapt it to other models&versions.
The tables have exactly the same sequence in other flash files.

has anyone here has successfully modified, i mean convert a 5210 to 8855? flashing 8855 file to 5210 cause the screen upside down... i know i'll lost the extra features like termometer, but those i also seldom use perhaps... but what i can gain is that the analog clock, which looks great! ca it be done if i change a 8855 lcd into my 5210? are them the same? i don't dare to take the risk..unless someone tried it...can anyone help me??
