guys, i just bought a new bluetooth for my pc, im having troubles connecting... can anyone help me please... i can send from my pc to my phone but it always says sending failed when transferring from phone to pc. and when i try to make a serial connection, it connect but gives an error saying cannot connect or something.. please help guys!!!!!!!!

If I understanded correctly: You can send files to the pone but you cannot send filse from phone? Correct? And you use Widcomm drivers?

If is it so then you have to do some regedit
(Start -> Run -> Type: regedit [ENTER])

Find this key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Widcomm\BTConfig\Services\004
"AcceptOther" change value to "1"

Then this:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Widcomm\BTConfig\Services\004
"AcceptOther" do the same, change it to "1"

Restart PC...

Anyway if you dont have those drivers try to search "AcceptOther" regkey from registery and change the value to the "1"

If you have widcomm drivers and you wont find "AcceptOther"-key then update your drivers.

My BT connection does same whit the "serial connection" as anyones else. How I put this.... you can't use it that way... or something...

if you check my post above and check the link in that post you wont have the problem with the serial connection..

ok thanx for the reply guys, i fixed the phone to pc problem using the change key to 1 prosedure. now my question to panja is, since im still getting the serial connection error but it connects anyways, how do i get rid of the error? cnt find the info on the previous threads. and also sometimes when i click the serial connection and starts the connecction and gives the error, sometimes another error occurs that closes my explorer.. please advise. tnx!!!

same thing encountered..... explorer crashes, still getting the serial connection error but it connects too... i think it has sumthin to do with the driver... have to look for an updated driver... tell u wen i got one or wen my problems are solved... goodluck!
