View Full Version : 7650 hangs up closing the keypad

Has anybody had this problem? When I'm using my 7650 and the keypad is open, and then somebody rings up, and I close the keypad the phone hangs up. Is there a solution/fix/app for this so that it wouldn't hang up. This is causing problems when using the hands free kit. Thanks!

What software version do you have in it?
If it's somethin 3.12-3.16 then goto update it! The newest is 4.39

Problem fixed! Apparently all you gotta do is hold down the left softkey for about 2 seconds and close the keypad! Works like a charm! :-D

what do u mean hangs up? dies or the call is ended? if u meant that the call is ended, i think its normal.

The call is ended. But it's ok now, theres a way of closing it without ending the call. :D Thanks anyway

If you want to close the sliding keypad during a call but not end the call, press left selection key and then close the sliding keypad within few seconds... It's work for me also...

During a call, not when initiating a call (while initiating pressing left key won't work.
when the call starts,(the other phone answers) Options appears over left key.
Press left fey and a sub menu appears. Close the keypad and select (or leave it there) yes or no to lock keypad
