Guys,
I got a bluethooth adapter today and I am trying to connect my 7650 to the PC. The software that came with the bluetooth made the PC to recognize the adpter and the "bluetooth manager" (bundle with the bluetooth adapter) to se my mobile by MAC address. But Nokia PC suite for 7650 when starts says: Connect u r phone to the PC , OK ,Cancel" and thats it. It doesnt give me the chance to choose connection type (in my case Bluetooth)!
Anybody that has connect his 7650 to his PC can he please tell me how?

I had this problem try clicking the 2 triangles that should be in the system tray this will open the port selector.
B]If that fails go into windows/ startup/programs, and remove the mrouter from there.reboot.[/B]
this did it for me with no help from Nokia who were clueless and it took 3 weeks of phone calls and trying various settings til I sussed it then Nokia had the bloody cheek to ask me to email the solution to them for further reference, HA!

Thanks Lez.
Can u tell me what u mean by mrouter. I looked arround for mrouter.exe but I couldnt find that file. I can find however some mrouter dll's in the Nokia 7650 PC suite folder. Which one should I move? Also when saying "windows/ startup/programs" what do u mean? In a win98 machine in C:\windows there is no startup folder.
Finally in this triangle icon in the taskbar what one should choose? I see Bluetooth COM3 to COM8 (COM3 is the serial). But when I click COM3 after a short detection Win98 ends up with the message "The port cannot be enabled It may be in use by another application" but which? To my knowlwedge it is not! did u had the same problem?

Hmm! sorry I had win me running which does have a startup folder cant help u get round that one.
but it seems to be a program that autodetects when u boot ure pc to see if ure phone is connected this was causing me a conflict that was resolved when I removed it
As for the com ports well strangely enough on my pc it works on com 2 ???? which u have stated u dont have?
are u using a usb dongle? and if so have u installed the program that comes with it because this installs com 2 on my system which I dont have if I dont install the 3rd party software>
Hope this helps Lezzzzz....

Hi Mates,
I now manage to resolve my issue:
You need Windows XP *and* service pack 1 to make it work
First install the v2.0 blue manger (that includes the USB drivers for the Wavelink bluetooth device). It is not the one form the CD! You need to download it form www.ivmm.com
Then install the Nokia PC suite for 7650.
After all installation/reboots are in place start the XDNC blue manager. It should detect the phone. Establish a connection with the phone (eg saying browse files from phone. Note that this operation will fails in the end as there are no files to browse in the 7650). In the process phone you will asked for a passcode (anything u like eg 12345) give this and make sure u enter the same thing into the PC also when asked. Finally accept the connection (phone will ask for this). Now in the options menu for Blue manager (or the Control Panel) write down in a paper which COM port is the Bluetooth serial (in mine PC was COM4).
Leave Blue manager ON!
Click the "two-triangles" in the taskbar (right) aka the nokia mrouter. Click the COM port that u just wrote down form the blue manager as the bluetooth serial. Click Close (close the mrouter)
Start Nokia PC suite for 7650. The blue manager will detect that the nokia pc suite is trying to take over the connection and hand over this connection. SP1 is essential for all this to work!

PS: Note that every time that is connection with phone is lost u need to repeat this process.
