hi m8s!
jaz want to ask if the 5110 supports blinking SMS. i've tried ppmmanager, exported the text chunks and added a string of \X01\X0A "\X01 is for blinking; \X0A is for linefeed", the compose message blinks but when you send it, the receiver's display doesn't blink.
any comment/suggestions?
one more thing,
are the patches of g3n0lite irreversible?
as if you have to remove the patches on a patched-flash file, how wld u do it?

and what was receivers phone? model that don't support blinking?
i have never used unicode in messages, because i don't use arabic or so.
and blinking works fine with my 5510 without unicode.

br,
I've tried that already, it works on the msgs, but if you create a phonebook entry that blinks, the entry can no longer be read... unless you'll put the sim on a 3310 or other phones which is capable of more than 160 text characters... I think 5110 simply doesn't support Unicode or you have composed more than 53 text that is blinking.... (Coz a blinking text is not just 1 character but 3 character) you just can see the other character coz it is the one that is used to blink the text) example you have type "A" that is blinking... if you'll see that on a unicode format (ex. other fon that simply doesnt support unicode - alcatel or bosch (old phones)) you'll see that it has an extended characters (ex. "#1A") if you don't have old phones why not try Logomanager... create a text msg in unicode (add "\f" on your text msgs - for blinking) take notice... the available text is lessened by 3!
Explanation why you must limit your blinking characters to 53!
53 blinking characters X 3 unicode = 159
160 characters is only supported by the phone
Phonebook only supports 12 characters
If you'll exceed 53blinking characters, it is no longer supported by your phone!
Soo... If you'll make a 5110 text message blinking, limit your msg to 53 characters or do not send that msg to some old phones!

i think blinking on 5110 is not possible... 51 does not have unicode... :)
