Very sorry if this is not the right forum to post this, was the only active place I could find :(

Using logomanager and a serial cable, I backed up my phone, inserted a new simcard, and restored it into that. All was fine.

When I finished, and unplugged the datacable, the power obviously went off, but upon turning back on. The screen was blank.

I thought it was a power problem, but the phone works fine (can make calls.etc), only the screen is blank. Lights come on.

I know about the problems that the 8210/8850s have with screens, but this happened at such a time, that I think I must of somewhere fucked the firmware up (Or something, I'm no expert).

Please advise :(

(Sorry again if this is not the correct place)

The more I think about this, the more I think the screen has just gone bust :|

The phone works perfectly, the screen is just blank.

I have no idea what to do

Thanks the reply.

After some research, I worked out it was the elastomer. I have ordered a whole replacement screen (As AFAIK, it could well be the screen aswell that's a big buggered). So that should solve the problem.

I'm using a 6110 at the moment, it feels like a brick compares to my 8850 :D

(And bloody coincidences, trust it to pick the moment I unplug it from my datacable to die!)

Thanks again,
Steve
