I'm thinking of installing SmartAnswer.

Does the microfone mute when someone calls to your phone and is recording a message.

I mean when someone calls me and recording a message can he/she hear me on the background?

but you can't turn off the speaker!
so you here what the caller is saying

i asked a symbian software-seller if the developers are planning such a feature. they told me they would ask them about it. as far as i know they don't know how to do it, because nokia doesn't give them a lot of informations on how to access the hardware... -that was the problem with the micro too. they didn't know how to turn it off

THERE IS A NEW VERSION OF THIS S/W. YOU CAN SELECT THE OUTPUT DEVICE IN THIS VERSION. TRY TO FIND IT... SMART ANSWER V1.05
