5210 working fine until now.
lately, when inserting reminders in the calendar I type some text, alarmtime etc, working ok. But when I review the reminder, i see 4 or 5 blocks, white with a black border. Sometimes one or two characters at the end, but not the right characters.

Card-memory and internal memory are way from full.
Software v. 5.18.
I know there's newer software but I see nothing in the updates that is related to this error, so I don't see how it can help to upgrade.

Is there any other memory that could be full? How to tell?
Any ideas to solve this problem?

Hiya

I had a nokia 7110 that did the same thing, when i went into the inbox, at the top of the screen instead of saying inbox it had 4 or 5 black squares, but then changed back to the writing.
I took my phone into the nokia shop, where i was cheeply fobbed off with "thats in the phone specification, and its just because its taking its time to read your memory due to your inbox is nearly full"
All i can think of is that maybe your reminders is full and its taking its time to read them. The way i got round it is i bought my phone from a shop called the Carphonewarehous, and i took it back, and all they did was update the firmware. Never had any problems since.
Dont know if it will help you, but get it tried anyway, if your phone is still in guarentee, then updating the firmware is free, so you cant lose, just back up all your data, they wipe it!

Rich.
