Dear SchizO,

I have tried to set up my email account with no success. Looks like I will have to wait till I get hold of a BT adpater or maybe an IRDA adapter.

BTW, any WAP site which I can download apps for now? or maybe the Wireless IRC as you talked about?

With the wireless IRC or yftp, how do I dwnload apps? Please advise. Thanks

Since you have not installed anything on your phone. Sign up an account with hotpop.com, it supports POP3 mail...After creating account with hotpop.com, you need to configure mailbox on your phone: Supply the necessary informations like username, password, incoming mail server and outgoing mail server. But be sure that you have a GPRS access with your service provider. YOu can send mail with max of 500KB attachment and total of 10MB inbox size...

I have a GPRS acct. I have set up the email acct with HotPOP.com. BUT when I tried to log on via GPRS, it will wait a while and then it display:

SYSTEM Error
Try AGAIN LATER.

It seems that I cannot access any email from my phone. Is there any other free EMAIL app from WAP site: http://midletcentral.org or others which I can get a more reliable EMAIL client program?

Hotpop is a very good email provider. Check with your network what email client it supports. Maybe your telco supports IMAP4 and not POP3?
Anyway, here it the email settings for POP3 hotpop.com:
Mailbox name: your mailbox name
Access point in use: check with your telco what access point to use
My mail address: [email protected]
Outgoing mail server: smtp.hotpop.com
Send Mesage: Immediately
Send Copy to self: Chose your option (Yes or No)
Include signature: Yes or NO
USername: yourusername (same username when you setup your account)
password: your password (same password you setup your account)
Incoming mail server: pop.hotpop.com
Mailbox Type: POP3
Security: Off
APOP Secure LOgin: Off

If you setup the above settings correctly, your email should work well. Otherwise you need to seek assistance with your service provider.
