It's dead!!! It's not starting anymore... by pushing the power on button it displays the NOKIA logo and goes white again and displays the NOKIA logo and goes white again... after 3 times and it turns off the phone.... I tried to take the batteri and Sim card out and back again, BUT it's the same....
Should I take it to NSC or is there amy way to repaire it....
What I did before it was dead was that I installed and uninstalled some programs and I got a couple of time an error that the applsever or somthing was not working, Idon't remember....But most resently I uninstalled webviewer and installed Activemail... and at the last second I backed up my phone with PC Suite Nokia and it showed an error that I restarted my phone and it was dead....

Press the ABC button, hold it down and switch the phone on. Hold the ABC button until the phone has completely started! After the phone has started, do a hard reset.
try to format (*#7370#) it......if you can reboot your phone successful......
it seems your phone is used out of menory or something wrong......
it did happen to my phone ,too.......
and i try and try and try to reboot my phone.....once i get into the operation mode, i press "*#7370#" immediately.....
after awhile.....my phone is back as well.....
so , give it a try......and good luck to you!!
Tiger42......may i ask you a question?
what is the difference between >>> reboot 7650 by switch ABC+power-on and just only power-on button.......
thanks for your answer......thanks!!

If you hold down the ABC button the phone starts in "safe mode". No autostart programs are executed during the startup.
thanks a lot......i see.....
and one more question please.....
"do a hard-reset" you just mention........
is that will be by pressing "*#7370#" right?
thanks again.......

If ABC does not work, try pressing and holding the menu button during startup of the phone. This should bring you directly into the phone mode. I've never tried this, though.

Hi! I've experienced the same problem, I've overloaded the memory and the phone could not perform anymore operations, sometimes it would start up but would not get into the menu nor accept any key... Tried to enter the hard reset code but it would not take it due to memory full and delete some apps message. I could not delete anything as no space in memory left to load app manager and such. At the end got a message after start up saying: Contact your provider.... Brought it to nokia and now awaiting to collect it again, fully resetted and with a newer software inside.... :(
 Never EVER reach the maximum Memory capacity....
(the only nice thing out of all this is they are sorting out my phone for free!!!!! MOCO in Uxbridge -London/UK are really cool!!) :p

How low do you think is a safe minimum?, I currently have 121K free and it is working fine, but does pop up the occasional memory low message and i click ok and it goes away,
I suppose 100K should be a safe minimum ?

i don't know exactly if you've only 121k just don't take any pics or other stuff that will decrease your amount left.... I had something similar took some snaps with the cam and had to send it to nokia....

I've also experienced thos before and i had less than 100k (+- 90) and i've taken a picture. Later i tried to call and my phone died!! I took it to Nokia and they've formated the fone and instaled 4.39v.
It seems thats a problem solved by this newer firmware. That's why i advise everyone to upgrade to 4.39, so that the "major crash" won't happen.

I must admit that i'm getting a bit annoyed with all the problems i'm having with my phone and the lack of memory and Nokia's lack of support for helping us upgrade the memory and at the moment i am seriously thinking of getting rid of my 7650 and getting an SE P800 instead, i would miss the joystick of my 7650 but at least i will be able to upgrade the memory with mmc's,
The 3650 isnt a consideration for upgradeing to because of the toy looks and the stupid keybpard layout, i enter a lot of text and just dont want to have to relearn how to do this on a different layout
