Dear All,
I've read all threads talking about BT on this forum, allaboutsymbian, and i got no clue!
The problem is as following:
BT : BlueGear (www.bluegear.com)
OS : Win2000
Mobile : N7650
The BlueGear CD (Came with BT) has only two applications,
1) Home IP Locator, i think it's related to Internet connection through BT
2) PAN (tried to search, found N7650, tried to connect, gave a stupid 06-96 error!!!!)
-What do i need to install or do to connect my 7650 to the computer through BT?
-How can PC Suit detect my phone through BT?
Hope someone can help!!!!

hello,
check with your vendor, maybe the BT you bought is for PC to PC networking? Or the CD that came with your BT is not really for mobile connectivity. Before anything else, ensure that you have the correct BT and USB drivers, correct settings and your phone must be switched On to BT mode.
For mobile connection, you need to create a " Serial Port Connection" - is this the one you setup?
Otherwise you need to ask technical help from your vendor...

I've done a check on the mobile connectivity, and it does say in the help that it for mobile connectivity. The thing is when i installed the CD, it created a Network adapter (BT Network Adapter)...
-Is there an application i need to download or something to set the BT enabled with PC SUite?
-Also, when i search using the PAN progy with the BT CD, i get all the Bluetooth around (My 7650), when i try to connect, it tells "Failed to get PAN service information!"
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thanx

Well i've got a Belkin USB Bluetooth Adapter, and i find that my serial port connection will only work if i disable the bluetooth LAN. So on win2k and above, go to device manager, and under network adapters diable the Bluetooth LAN adapter or something. Then restart and see if it'll work.
Cheers
