View Full Version : WildSkinz_v1.2_full doesn't WORK!!!

Has anyone tried WildSkinz_v1.2_full (From Shiz0's Site) and did not with him/her??

I've installed it on my phone firware 4.39 and doesn't work, also installed my own skin, still doesn't work...

The program opens OKay, lets you choose your skin, it's all perfect but the program doesn't do anything as it shoud!

i had the same problem, tried different skins, then when i restarted, it came up with failed to start "contact retailer".

Then i uninstalled it, dont bother, i think that program makes the Operating System look ugly!!!!!!!!!

the only cool thing about this program is if you have your picture or something instead of the white menu!!!!!!!!!!!

other than that! nothing iguess!

at first i was not able to make it work...
i installed it, uninstalled and stuff...

then i made a hard reset and tried to install it again, alas! it worked!

hmmmm, strange though .... i just download the wildskinz full from blackskull installed it and it worked on the first run !!!

now testing to compile own skin ...

fyi, me on 3.12 :)

but sad cuz .... the bmconv needed to create customize skin doesn't work in my computer .... got the fill from blackskull tooo ....

all i get is illegal operationn ..... hmmmm

anybody knows why ??

Are you just double clicking on the makeskin.bat file? it is a dos file so has to be run in dos mode (or a dos shell), or type the whole command line yourself if you dont want to run the .bat

I also didn't have no problems untill after 4/5 days started crashing java apps screensaver and the phone itself!
In the forum lots of people are complaining of this very good looking but "dangerous" software

yepp ... dangerous .....

was having fun with it for few days ..... then sometimes it work sometimes it doesn't

so decide to uninstall it !!!

damn .... after uninstall all my application have errors !!! and couldn't even activate java apps ... and i cant enter alphabets !!!! onli numbers were available .... !!!!! dammm ...

the cure ... reinstall wildskinz .. then set it to off, restart phone ... then onli uninstall it .... but it was too late. .... some of my application compressed with stacker was corrupted ....hmmm. ... have to reinstalled mosst of my apppsss !!!!!

i think the problem ist that the cracked version wont work if you had the trial installed bevor...
so if you formate your phone the cracked one will work, and if you never had the trial on your phone it will work also..

for all the users that had the trial on their phones.. too bad..
format or buy the program.

i bought it and now it works.. without any problems...

I follow the steps, and i only get black/white skinz, no color!

This app is crap. it crashed my phone to a point of no return to it to my service centre and they couldnt even flash it. they said it will need to be sent away for 2 weeks. :mad: :mad: Never will try that app again......

The problem is that when the program installs it changes a value inside the system.ini (located in c:\system\system.ini) from "z\system\fep\t9fep" (or something like that) to "c:\system\fep\wildskinz.fep" and when you uninstall it,it deletes the fep directory (or we do since its not needed anymore) and the phone then says system error.
the solution is to delete system.ini but thats where all the registration data is kept so you have to register all the programs again.
I think the problem is that the crack is not good it only prevents the app from saying its a trial version and when it expires it just stops working without a warning,but im not sure if this is the case.

Yes, I think This cracked app is not working. It worked fine for 7days, and after that it won't work. I think this is like some of the screensaver cracked app. You can check if a cracked app would work by changing your phones date to the expired period. And this Wildskinz1.2cracked file failed. I think a keygen would be a better option. I hope somebody will be able to make one. Wildskinz is a cool program. I have made many cool colored skins, from movie themes to product brands. :):)
