any software to lock phone ?

im looking for some software so i can lock phone .
ie i go to pub put it on the bar and if anyone picks it up they cant access the phone book or messages etc.
i know there is a feature on phone already (lock phone) but
if you use that and someone picks the phone up and puts in the wrong code 3 times you need to get intoch with nokia to get the code wich can take days.

anyone any idea of any software to do what i want please

Hi, I think, this case with 3 times enter wrong code and than the phone is locked is ONLY for the PIN-Code.

If you activate the security code ( FIVE digits) and you leave your phone, press the power knob short and choose the point: "sec. code". Than is your phone instantly locked and I MEAN, every crazy guy can try 1000 times the (wrong) digits and nothing happens. If you enter the 5 right digits, the unlocking will be return.

just spoke to orange and they say if the feature is used and the wrong code put in 3 time you have to take it to a nokia approved dealer to get it flashed.

anoyone know of anysoftware or anyone know anyone who could write some software to do this

yes there is an option (lock phone ) buchikin but its no use
if someone gets hold of your phone and enters the wrong code 3 times you need to go to an approved nokia dealer to get it sorted out .

you would think by now nokia would impliment some option into there phones so you could lock it so all your contacts messages etc are secure .

u can type in a WRONG code 4 1000 times & it wont BLOCK ur fon, UNLESS d person switch off/on ur fon & type in d WRONG PIN CODE...:D

oh, I'm sorry, I've to much trusted to Nokia. This function by Powerknob is only one: shit. The developers of it use her brain not.

acording to orange if i put the code in wrong 3 times it will need
to go to a nokia registered dealer to get it fixed . orange recon there is so much software available to unlock phones these days that it basicaly is another security feature. im not prepeared to try it lol i need my phone .

acordin to me, you can try unlimited number of security codes.

i forgot my lock code once and tried it more than 5 times .. no problem with me .. still works after i remember the right lock code ..

I KNOW it doesnt lock when u enter 3 the wrong code 3 or more times. PIN CODES are the ONLY one that gets blocked. problem is, u ask question and dont believe. but if u really dont want to, its not our loss.

eventually tried it. i locked the phone and entered code wrong
5 times and it says locked for 5 mins due to wrong code. after 5 mins it let me put in right code.
.@ buchikin it wasnt i didnt believe anyone mate just wanted to make sure what was said was right after orande told me different
