Hi.

Is there a way to shutdown the display on a 6310 but the
phone will still work (software shutdown)

Nothing about Flash manipulating can be done on DCT-4 phones, because the flash is encrypted. But as I've seen, the IDA Pro demo can read the DCT-4 ARM Flshfiles. ??? So the algorythm decoder code must be some instrutions after the first (boot) instruction that is read by IDA.

Well, I'm not a expert but I try to understand and tell you guys n girls.

yes you can do it easly as I did it just make a blank screensaver and make to be displayed..this will make your fone seems switched off but you still can recive calls and messages
