TO: NokDoc (Refering to another Address)

I've got this Idea from the this forum that you can refer to another address instead of refering to its original address...

Just like the security code..... being placed in inbox...

I'm just curious if it is posibble to for 3310/3315, instead of displaying the screensaver by refering to its address,,, we refer instead to the so called "Human Technology" that will come out if you turned on your cell....(it happens only when you have fully set your settings to its facotory settings)....

If it is possible where and how could I change it... Please help.... co'z I can't locate the right address of the screensaver and the thing "Human Technology"...

Sounds logical, If we can add a slide show why cant we use the startup annimation or slide show annimation as a screen saver?

I have an idear too would it be posible to replace the keypad locked annimation to a diferant 4 frame annamation and have it so it keps on playing till the key pad is unlocked?

Well, why not!!!!

If you can play 4 frames, why not refer to the first frame of the animation right after the last frame( 4th) is displayed so meaning to say it will go back repeating the same animation until of course you unlock it..... but you should also include an "interupt event" so that it could still be unlocked while it is playing the animation....

hi guys,

I have been trying to get the "keypad locked animation + extra frames from games etc" increased in size to full screen as an animated screensaver of sorts for a good while but havn't been able to loop the animation continuously.

I havn't had the time to spend on this project that I would like recently but if I work it out I will post here.

I am glad others think this may be possible :) regards.

there would be no need to loop the frames if you point to what I mentioned as "Human Technology" for it contains almost 23 frames... its a long one....

well, thanks for the time and I hope someone could do it successfully... while me I'm still searching for post here that could teach me how to point to another address rather than pointing to its original address.....

I found this web site and they're selling a 5110 with an annamation that comes up when the phone is left on stand by so if it's possible for those old thing it has to be possible for 3310. Sorry I don't have the address you are looking for I'm not in to hex editing yet only costom slide shows..

I have tried using those frames but the animation times out at about 18 frames and reverts to the default screen, so somehow looping & disabling the timeout is the only solution I can see for an animated screen saver of any length or worth.

Well, 18 frames worths it, it's better having those those number of frames, rather than having nothing at all... any one could personalize it by changing the images....

Have you done it successfuly?

i think i can add new animation, the only problem i cant solve is how to move the Animation Address Table to the free space in the flash. anyone who knows how to do it?

Just some facts of what I know:

Logos & logo id nr's, U can add by extending the tables.

Animations can be made longer, by eg adding these new logo id nr's.

A 18 pic length is a practicle limit somehow.

About the timing is still unknown to me.

A continious loop need changes or rebuilding the mcu function(s).

More a question for the Arm guys.

Logo Id's, U can exchange to other menu items.

Animation Id's, U can exchange to other menu items.

Both are defined in the collumns of the menulines of eg G3n0Lite.

Animation Id nr's, U cannot add. (yet)

The animation exist of basically 3 tables.

Their locations can be found in the logtexts of the latest g3n0Lite tool by Joox.

Replacing two of the tables is no problem.

The third, the addresses seems to part of some big array. (to me)

But maybe one of U guys can try some things there.

A hexwarning is a bit on it's place here.

Since for most of this, there is no tool yet.

I hope this helps for some of the questions.

Ok well to solve the constant animation thingy:

The Alarm bitmap is looping :) so simply we "somehow" using tables which ive not researched into YET change the keypad locked animation to the alarm bells animation so it will loop over and over like a screensaver :) yet as in alarm going off you CAN press other keys to interupt it, so thus replace keypad locked animation with alarm bells and your sorted

hey, i have the same problem, i try to edit the animated keypad lock with looping of alarm bells in FlsEdit animations and flash back to my Phone, but when i lock the keypad the animated bells end after a few seconds.

(is there any software that can loop the animation?)

and what software that can call a looping alarm bells that i can put it in my keypad animation to loop again and again?

if this happens, it will be a great help for others that asking the same question... or maybe i sugest that Joox,eleoson,Johnjocker and other programer can create a software for this, if Possible.
