8310 imei number ?????????

when i enter *#06# to display the imei number, all i get is ????????????


Is the phone dead?

is it possible to do a hardware reset?

Sounds like the IMEI code has got currupted on the phone, first thing I would do is a full reset of the phone I think the code is *#7370#, if this still fails you try this piece of software to renter the imei code displayed under the battery back into the phone. this software will only change the writable IMEI part of the phone not the UEM and UPP chip which is write only. But this shouldnt matter as the 06 code only looks at this part. Havent tested this software so be a bit wary but seen some reviews.

I have the same problem with my 6310,
but this imei changer don't work at me!
I have an RS232 F/Mbus cable, it's not automatic(Mbus=RX_TX sort).
Maybe it is my problem? :confused:
I transformed my cable, I connected RX TX with a dioden.
It is work with jic unlocker :) , but not work imei changer!:(
If anybody know another imei changer please send me!
