what do they mean, how do i get round:(

Well you have to have a flasher cable. And how did you get that kind of error anyway ?

I bought a kit, including eepcom software, when i click on the magnifying glass that updates authority id i get the "error reading msid from phone" message and now i get the same message when clicking on the padlock symbol that sets default sp locks, the ppm version message is no longer appearing.

I think is the same problem. Change the OS with win98 or win 95.
