anyway to edit a recieved text message

could anyone tell me if there is anyway to edit a recieved text message ?
you could with any other nokia i have had but cannot see a way to do it on a 7650 unless i missing something .

also anyone know where i can download free ebooks from

edit a received text msg?????.......oF course you can!!!!!!!!...................ope the received text msg then OPTIONS, FORWARD then u can edit the message.

You can save it to Notes and edit it there.

OR

Copy the text you want to the clipboard by holding the ABC key and choosing Copy. Then Paste the text to the place you want it by holding the ABC key and choosing Past

is there a Notes program for the 3650? how can i edit text from messages/email/etc ? (if i forward and do not send...it'll save it in drafts....i really don't want that)

i would like to make and edit text files. i know i can use the templates as a pseudo-note program. anyone know how to do this?

just copy the text by pressing and hold the 'pencil' button and scroll the text you want to copy using the joypad............................................and then open a notepad and paste!.............................................

you can't just use the pencil button when viewing an email or a text message. it won't work.

the best i have heard is to forward the message and then copy the text there. but once you exit it saves a draft. seems like so much hassle.

any one else have suggestions?

i did try that on my 3650. you can't use the the pencil button on text messages in the inbox. and there is NO notepad on the 3650. hmmm...so i have no idea what phone you are talking about.

you connot copy it from the inbox...................you have to use the forward option first.....................................then u can use the pencil button...............................................3650 doesent have the 'notepad' but it has the 'note' thingy!...........................and of course i am talking about 7650/3650 phone.....................y should i be talking about another phone...........................what forum is this!!???...........................smart ass..........................go familiarize your phone features first..............................before u ask anything here....................

first of all. i know this phone. second of all if you even read the posts carefully enough...you would know that i'm talking about NOT using the forwarding function. becasue if you exit from the forward message , the phone will save a draft. i was looking for a way to do it without using FORWARD.

and obviously i was thinking that you might be talking mainly about the 7650 since the forum is about BOTH phones.

but if you read you would know im talking about the 3650. and the note thing you are talking about is called a TEMPLATE!

1.................have you opened the extras folder???...................u can find the notepad thingy fucking between the clock and the calculator....................yes it is the same as the template pad.............................if that is the same defult arrangement
