uhm.. what is this key for?

ive never used before and i feel its a pretty worthless function..

...insert number while editing text, change to numeric, change language, insert symbol, copy, cut and paste... You can highlight a word or phrase by using abc and joystick just like using shift and cursor on pc! Great key, great indeed...

if u want to copy a word,sentence, paragraph or any text to another folder or u just want to repeat it many times so u can just fill out the sms up to 4000+ characters.............this is the key u need the ABC key..........................open any text that can be modified, hold down the ABC key and you will notice a copy and paste on your screen.

this key is also used if you want to select all the mesages, program file, sound files or any files you want either to delete or copy, move.........blah blah................again hold down the ABC key while at same time press the joypad up or down to select.

Another good use is to mark many things at once.. select the first, say, image, you want to mark, hold ABC, then scroll down. Let go when finished and you'll have a selection marked. Now if you use delete, or send, it will send all the pictures at once.

But why doesn't ABC when just pushed once mark something?? It's so dumb.

aahhh!!! thanks.. Nokia are so good at designing in shortcuts on their phones, I knew there must be some way.


Next up - can you send text messages to quickdial recipients, or do you always have to browse to a number?

Open a contact, go into Options and Defaults. This allows you to set a default no/address that the phone uses for that contact for Phone , SMS, MMS and Email.
