This usually occurs when the phone has been barred by the network. Try a different sims

hi mate thanx for your reply. i know the phone has not been blocked at all, i haven't even unlocked it yet. i just dropped it and cracked the screen i've taken it apart and there is no signs of damage to the main board so i'm at a blank and was hoping this had happened to someone else who could tell me how they fixed it - thats if they did:(

Hi, since I posted that reply, I've been floating around the forums a bit more and it may be worth your while checking out the Hardware forum as there is a lot of info there regarding 3310's with signal dropping specifically the "Anyone need help?" thread. hope this helps :p

i have encountered that on the shop but the best way as ive tried to is to chage the virgin eeprom of your unit.. if not then its hardware loss.. :)

Lets not get carried away with hardware changes and the sort just yet, have you tried Re-flashing the phone? Updating the faid? Also resetting the full factory settings can help!

Try to replace antenna switch or clean contacts with rubber eraser. I encountered the same probs b4. When I tried this it works.:)
