Hello. I'm french and I have some solution to repair some problems on 3310/3310 mobile phones.
First : Mic level very low :
If the man you call can't understand what you said and ask you to speak stronger, there is a problem in the mic line. so, if you don't want to change the Cobba or to change the mic line, you just had to link the pads of the mic to the pads of the external mic (of the handfree). If you want pics, ask me on [email protected]
Second : Phone not ringing :
If your phone doesn't ring, it's either the buzzer which is dead or the UI which have a problem.
To solve that problem, link the pin #6 of the N400 (UI) to the buzzer + pad (the one where there is no condensator). If you want pics, please send me an email at [email protected]
Third : Network Problem :
This solution is for the phones which have this problem : the phone power up and ask you the pin. you enter the pin and then, the phone show the network name but now reception. After a few moment, the phone switch of and then power on and etc etc.
To solve this problem, flash the phone with a Full flash and then, use NokiaTool. Click on the button to read phone informations then, click on SP, wait a few seconds, click on FAID and wait a few seconds. Close Nokiatool and start Knok (those tools are downloadable on internet, search them in google.com). Under knok, select the mobile phone type and then in the menu "phones settings", select "Set New Imei", click Ok in the new window, and enter the Imei which is written at the back of the phone (under the battery). Then click ok, wait a few seconds and then your phone will be able to catch network.
I hope this little guide will have help you. If you have any problem, or if you have a problem you want to solve, i can try to help you, just send me a mail at [email protected]
Please, excuse me for the bad use of english.
Bye
