Hi,
yes, quicktime will not play these files. Thats clear. Try, to rename these files to *.mp4 and replay it. If it no work, you must install the Philips Platform Player.

Hi, mayday,
sorry, I know, most Mac' ianers means, they have a better system. This was in the past, too. But since last time Apple hungs a little back to the actual technic (processor speed and so on). But I know, you want hear that. No prob.
Result: The Multi Media qualities was not so good like Windows machines. Therefore I dont know a player, who run for 3gp.

Hi, mayday,
he, I use my posting only as a "game", cause I know the old competition between this both machines. Its the same like AMD vs. Intel. Just for fun. I know, that proc. speed is not the one thing (and Mac is deep down) but your fast SCSI bus from the past is not more the best - the Wintel-clan runs faster yet. But I know: USB and Firewire are very cool things from APPLE! Compliment.
I know the graphic industrie since years. I worked at a small publisher and all "machines" was Mac's. And we have every day funny discussions. But one note: You know, for high end render graphics macs are not possible. Think to SI-Workstations ore Win NT-machines for Maya, Softimage, 3D Studio Max and all the other progs. No chance for Macs.
Wisher for a nice weekend @ all:
