I can't get my flash cable working. I bought a kit that came with one MBus cable (COM to ps2) and a number of ps2 to nokia phone connectors from a computer fair. I then seperately bought a flasher cable (LPT to ps2) from here (http://www.firstphoneshop.co.uk/). The MBus cable works fine, but i can't get the flasher cable to work. knox says "couldn't initialise phone" or something, and rolis just waits for me to press the power on button, even after i have done so (doesn't respond if i plug the charger in either). This is with a fully charged battery, and the phone switched off to start with. I initially only tried to back up my phone (wasn't confident enough to start flashing things carelessly), and i heard somewhere that some phones won't let you read, only write (dunno if it's true), but i got a second phone given to me a few days ago (3310) so i tried to write to that and it wouldn't work then either. I run Windows XP on my comp, but i installed viewport and it still doesn't work. My LPT port is set to ECP + EPP (DMA 3) using range 0378 - 037F and works fine otherwise (for example, with my printer). I have also uninstalled the printer to see if that was causing issues, but still to no avail. I apologise for such a long post, but i figure that the more info i put down the better my chances of you guys knowing a solution.

PS - i unlocked the second 3310 with an MBus cable and noktool, it uses software version 4.02, i though only pre 3.24 could be unlocked this way?
