Have a look here...I haven't used them But I think I'm going to get the Li-Polymer, if it's anything like the one on my 6310i then it should be good. There's also an uprated Li-ion.

but some of my friends told me that the Li-polymer doesnt actually differs in it performance from the Li-ion 1250 mAh, the only differance is in its price :)

Yeah, your friends are right. For the 7650 there's no real point, the only advantages are the lighterweight and the fact that it can be much thinner. I guess that's what they'll use in the 7650i when they stick an mmc under it.

I'd be interested to know if they found the two to be similar in performance. The Li-P is only 700 mAh and the Li-ion is 1100mAh.

I know that the same rating Li-ion will outperform a NiMh of 20-30% greater mAh. But I thought Li-P were roughly the same as the Li-ion.
