no, itīs impossible!!

imei is stored in a chip, which canīt be rewritten!!

u must desolder it, then u must find a new one, and a software and hardware to programm it, then u must it resolder to your phone!!

so FORGET IT, itīs impossible!!!

(hope u understand my englisch:D )

I see.. so theres no way haa?? Ok, so how can I get round the network blocking the handset? In the UK there is a new database lunched that store IMEI numbers which are stolen or lost. If your IMEI is on that database then your phone will not work on any network. Is there a way around this or can the phone be unblocked once it is blocked by the network.

Once again Many Thanks..

i read somewhere that the imei is stored in a EEPROM inside the phone>
that makes it very similar to the storage of passwords in a laptop>
i"ve had experience in this subject and i can teel you the steps are fairly complicated> in addition to a reader writer for the chip< you"ll need to find the imei encoded inside and know how to change it>
the biggest problem in this is if nokia is using a proprietary eeprom< in which case finding a reader?writer would be impossible>

Bottom line is< for now ou cannot change the imei< some programs that supposedly do that are floting round> i doubt ny work>

excuse the bd spelling< some progrm messed up my keybord i?o>>>
