you need a LPT(printer port) flasher.

With a data cable bugger all on the flashing side.

Upload ringtones, logos, backup phonebook etc (all dependent on software)

Update FAID, unlock phone, change IMEI and other EEPROM operations.

You cant upgrade your datacable with a datacable only a flasher cable. Data cable can only upload pict msg and ringtones into your phone.

Technically you didn't "upgrade" your phone to a 3315. If the software version was 5.45 or above the 3310 has the extras that the 3315 has but they are not enabled all you did was change a value in the eeprom that allowed the phone it display the extra menus.

i uses cellplus.my 3310 is vs 5.57.but when i upgraded my nokia,i only press on the option 3310 >3315.so the software must have taken the flashfile of an 3315 and put in my phone using my DATACABLE.....

THE 3310 IS THE SAME AS THE 3315 WITHOUT OPTIONS ENABLED.

The software using Mbus interface changes the EEPROM data in block 30 from 0 to 1 NO COPYING IS DONE

I REPEAT

NO COPYING IS DONE

Got that... good.

Now go and Buy/Build a FLASHER cable, get Rolis Flasher (or Knok or whatever)

Then come back and we might be able to help you.

Also "smart boy" mmmmmm well not atm

@pter

What Manipulator meant up there by printer port is the port a the back of your computer(the big one) where u connect ur printer. Thats where u connect the flasher cable as it supports more information than the data cable.

If you have a good technically knowledge search the forum for a description on how to make your own flasher cable.

Or you can buy one from here (http://www.logosunlimited.co.uk/unlocking_nokia.htm)

Its the product called Nokia Flasher Kit.
