Typing problem

Nokia 7650 v. 4.39

I seemed to have lost the ability to type alphabetics and the keypads only registers number. What could be wrong?

I'd assume that this is happening when composing messages.

What you need to do is to press the ABC button on the keypad and select 'Dictionary on' or 'Alpha mode' and this should fix the problem

Tried it just now even on searching in contacts alpha does not come on I press key 5 and only number 5 comes up no alpha at all. Anybody have a solution for this?

Well I got so impervious to the fact that my phone had a bug I formatted it, and now it works. Whatta solution I found, now I just have to install all my fave apps.
