Recently I bought a nokia 3310 off my mate, after about a month of use it just stopped working!
I thought that it might have been the screen, I replaced it but still no joy!
I thought that it might have been the software on the phone BUT I can flash to and from the phone and the screen and lights don't come on!
I updated the software but this didn't work!!
Has anyone got any ideas???
Cheers Danny!

By flash I take it you only did the normal software upgrade not a full flash (which has eeprom and would change the phones IMEI?)

Listen, download the EEPROM flash. (attached)
Open Rolis, Press "Write" in the "flash" menu (the flasher cable must be connected to phone and pc).
Open the downloaded EEPROM, Press the "3310" button (it's very important to press it!!!!!!!!!!), the press OK.
Put in the charger.
You must wait some minutes. If error change the delay (e.x. 30).
After EEPROM writed download download 3310 MCU file and the corect PPM (the language pack you want). Marage the 2 files with aw2d (You can download the flashes from http://nkflash.altervista.org/flash.htm, so do aw2d).
You don't need to power on. Just do the same trick with the charger. Open Nokia Tool 3.2x i could be finded in the forum (press search). Change the IMEI to original (i could be found on tha back of the phone under the batterey).
Then SET FAID (using Nokia tool 3.2x or Knok), maybe you must to reset the settings - In knok press "all abrove" in the "phone settings menu". Good luck!

Things to try:
1 when you put the battery in press down on the power button as well.
2 Try putting the charger in and see if the phone will charge.

Well the next step is hardware, need to check the board to make sure that it is clean and you have no damage on it (IE water or missing chips).

There is no water damage that I can see!
But the power IC buzzez when you try to charge!
Does this mean that it has blown??
