I have a 7650 with version 3.16

but when the screen saver is on(date and time/text) the line with the time etc is sometimes other colours than blue/purple/green like orange etc but i cant extend the pallete

why is this and is there anyway of gettin other colours?

Yes!
With 3.16 there is no way!
But with 4.39, there is an freeware app called Palette Extender, which extends the 3 colors by 3 more....

I guess there is an app. comin out by psiloc. its called extended menu. i have heard that you can change the menu's look on the phone.

i tried a few versions of the above software but it wont work :(

you probably have asia vesion 439 try to reflash it with some euro version and it will work.

... or you have the wrong version from Palette Extender.
Here is the right, it works:

Save as.... (http://people.freenet.de/Sanitaer/pextenderBETA3LE.sis)

Yeah!
@ first I had problems with the app, too!
But then I tried some italian version and it worked perfect!
